Terms and Conditions for all SocialNext Nonprofit Attendees
By participating in the SocialNext Nonprofit 2027 conference in Ottawa, you agree to all of the following terms and conditions. Before purchasing your ticket, please review these terms and conditions and confirm that you agree.
Orders with more than one attendee
If you purchase tickets for other people, these terms and conditions apply to every attendee who uses a ticket from your order. Please make sure the people you register have read them.
Refunds and transfers
All SocialNext Nonprofit registrations are non-refundable. Tickets may be transferred to another attendee by contacting info@socialnext.ca, but refunds will not be provided under any circumstance. By purchasing a ticket to this event, you agree to this purchase policy. Registration closes at 3:00 p.m. Eastern Time on the conference day unless the event sells out earlier. Before purchasing your tickets, we urge you to confirm the title, time, and location of the event.
Nonprofit pricing
Nonprofit pricing is for people registering from a nonprofit, government department or agency, or educational institution, and for independent consultants serving these types of organizations. SocialNext may ask for proof of eligibility.
SocialNext Nonprofit 2027 code of conduct
The SocialNext Nonprofit conference is dedicated to providing a harassment-free conference experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, or religion. We do not tolerate harassment of conference participants in any form. Conference participants violating these rules may be expelled from the conference without a refund at the sole discretion of the conference organizers. At our sole discretion, and without refund, conference organizers also reserve the right to expel from the conference, and any associated events, anyone that we determine is behaving in a manner that could be disruptive to the conference or any other attendee.
SocialNext Nonprofit 2027 photo/video release
From time to time, SocialNext Nonprofit uses photographs and videos of conference events in its promotional materials, on its website, and its social media accounts. By your attendance at SocialNext Nonprofit sessions and events, all conference visitors agree to the use of their likeness in such materials in perpetuity. Liability limitation
SocialNext Nonprofit and SocialNext will not accept liability for damages of any nature sustained by attendees or accompanying persons, or loss of, or damage to their personal property as a result of attending the SocialNext Nonprofit conference or any related events.
Cancellation due to factors outside our control
In the case of an event cancellation beyond our control (including but not limited to severe weather, public health orders, serious venue safety or security issues, and other issues beyond our control), we will reschedule SocialNext Nonprofit for a future, but timely, date. Refunds will not be available, but your ticket will remain valid for the new date.
COVID-19 and other communicable illnesses
I agree that by participating in SocialNext Nonprofit, I am voluntarily assuming all risks related to COVID-19 and other communicable illnesses, including exposure and contracting a communicable illness. Further, I agree that I shall not hold SocialNext Nonprofit, SocialNext, or its presenting partners and venues liable for any damages, loss, or injury related to COVID-19 and other communicable illnesses, including exposure to or contracting COVID-19 and other communicable illnesses. SocialNext Nonprofit’s communicable illnesses policies are subject to change at SocialNext Nonprofit’s discretion and/or the guidance of local public health authorities. All attendees will be required to adhere to guidelines and mandates set by SocialNext Nonprofit’s organizers and/or local public health authorities. At our sole discretion, and without refund, conference organizers also reserve the right to expel from the conference, and any associated events, anyone who refuses to comply with guidelines and mandates set by SocialNext Nonprofit and/or local public health authorities.
