Where and when is SocialEast 2026?
SocialEast 2026 takes place October 29–30, 2026 at the Halifax Convention Centre, 1650 Argyle Street, Halifax, NS B3J 0E6. It's downtown, close to transit, restaurants and the waterfront.
Is there a hotel block?
Yes. We've secured a discounted room block at the Sutton Place Hotel Halifax. Use group code 2610SOCEAST when booking. The cutoff is October 2, 2026, so book before then to guarantee your rate.
Is there a refund or transfer policy?
We're unable to offer refunds on ticket purchases, but tickets are transferable. Get in touch with the details of the person you'd like to transfer to and we'll take care of the rest.
Can I buy a ticket at the door?
No. All tickets have to be bought in advance through the registration page.
Is food and drink provided?
Our food and beverage sponsors provide complimentary drinks and light snacks throughout the day, and there are restaurants a short walk from the venue. Boxed lunches are a pre-purchase add-on; we don't sell them on site. Please bring your own water bottle or coffee mug.
